Huntington Beach

Even though we were scheduled to take off for Wisconsin at midnight, we decided a trip to the beach would be a great idea. Fortunately we were right and we had a great time playing in the waves and making sand castles with our friends.

Boomers

Two days after school got out, Emily's teacher had a special treat for her and 2 of her friends - a trip to Boomers for miniature golf and lunch. One of the girls had won the trip as part of a silent auction at school but Mrs. F was generous enough to invite the other girls too. They all golfed well. Several holes in one were reported. But the best part was having special time with their teacher.

Coronal del Mar Beach

The girls' cousin celebrated her 4th birthday at Corona del Mar beach. They loved building sand castles together.

Emily's Last Day of School

Rather than drive home on the last day of school, Emily and a group of her friends (and parents) met at local park to play and welcome summer vacation.

Talent Show

Emily and her BFFs sang and danced to Hannah Montana's "True Friends" at the school Talent Show. We were very proud of them for practicing hard and remembering all the words and moves.

Court of Awards

Our troop had its first Court of Awards ceremony where the girls got the Try It patches that they had earned.

Claire's Last Day of School

After graduation there was one day of school left. The girls made silly faces on their way into class for the last time together. =( They spent the day going to any classroom they wanted to play in. At noon all the parents came back for an end of the year picnic. The girls signed each others Autograph Dog and Memory Books in between playing one last round of Underdog.
