Christmas happened over several days close to the 25th. Our first celebration was in Thousand Oaks with Mommy's side of the family. We were a little early for the big annual soiree but the girls had fun opening presents on Winter Solstice. Our big family present both directions was a trip to Sea World!
After church on Christmas Eve (where both girls had starring roles in the pageant), we headed to Daddy's family celebration. It was hard to wait through dinner (and for Emily, in an itchy skirt) for present time! The girls were professional gift deliverers by the end of the evening. We were all thrilled to get annual passes to Knott's Berry Farm.
Finally, it was the big day. They hardly knew where to start.
But it didn't take long to hone in on the big present...
We spent the rest of the day happily learning how the thing worked. Emily became a pro at bowling very quickly. Claire loves to box. Daddy is sore. Mommy tries to find games where she doesn't get beaten by every other member of the family.
